Weird and subversive anti-Christmas cards from Apoplectic Press. Apoplectic Cards are the antithesis of conventional greeting cards. These cards feature collage illustrations using Victorian engravings embellished with pen and ink. The images are often unrelated and disparate. The effect is a feeling of cognitive dissonance or tension. The text is usually an extremely long, adjective-saturated sentence that is an almost misanthropic political rant under the pretext of a Christmas card.
